Ruturaj Gaikwad has been in sensational form in the current edition of the IPL and a century against Rajasthan Royals has helped him clinch the Orange Cap. He is the first batsman to score 500 runs in the current season of IPL. He has scored 508 runs in 12 matches at an impressive average of 50.80. Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul is at number two with 489 runs in 11 matches. Sanju Samson has reached the third position with 480 runs in 12 matches. Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan and Faf du Plessis have slipped to the fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer Harshal Patel – 26 wickets from 11 matches – continues to dominate the IPL 2021 Purple Cap tally – the most wickets in the tournament.
