Not many know that BTS member Suga has been repeatedly targeted by obsessive fans. Once a girl tried to kiss a K-pop singer at the airport. Not only this, once another fan followed him to the bathroom of an airport. The obsessive fan also immediately uploaded on social media that he had followed Suga. In another incident, a fan club once revealed that a fan was willing to pay a large sum of money to get Suga’s personal contact number. Earlier this year, when the BTS boys went to New York for the UNGA, some fans revealed the name of the hotel where the singers were to stay along with their room numbers. Reflecting on all such incidents, V at once expressed concern and said, “There are such fans. In those private spaces we do not get as much comfort as we would like. So we were a little uncomfortable. [And] To be clear with you, we don’t want you to do this. It’s really scary.”
Sure, popularity comes with a big price. This is the time ARMY members should understand and not invade the privacy of singers.
