“Kohli is a lower level player. He is doing well because of his fitness and it is supporting him. The moment he faces a fall, I don’t think Kohli can make a comeback. In fact, Babar is a big player like Sachin. His bat is as fluent as Sachin. People say that Kohli is better than Tendulkar. I say no. Virat does not even come close to Sachin. This is my opinion,” Asif said on CoverDriveCricket’s YouTube channel. “The way Sachin played, he had the upper hand and very few people know about this technique. Be it coach or any player. Sachin was very fluent on his cover drives, drive pulls and cuts. No doubt Kohli has strokes as well, but his entire hand is down,” said the former Pakistan fast bowlers.

India will take on Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup on 24 October. This will be the first match between the arch-rivals after the 2019 World Cup. Pakistan has never beaten India in a World Cup game.
