After UK, Hungary Agrees to Recognise India’s Vaccine Certificate; Will Boost Tourism, Travel, Says MEA


New Delhi: A day after the UK relaxed travel guidelines for Indian travelers after recognizing COVID-19, the Ministry of External Affairs on Friday said Hungary has agreed to recognize India’s COVID vaccine certificate. MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said on Twitter that the move will facilitate mobility for education, business, tourism and beyond. “Mutual recognition of Covid-19 vaccination certificates started! India and Hungary agreed to recognize each other’s COVID-19 vaccination certificates. Will facilitate mobility for education, business, tourism and beyond,” he said in a tweet.
