6.1 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Tokyo, Tremors Felt Across Japan


Tokyo: A severe earthquake of magnitude 6.1 struck Tokyo on Thursday. After the earthquake, many locals in the country took to Twitter to express their concern. According to an update from the Japan Meteorological Agency, the epicenter of the quake was located in northwestern Chiba prefecture at a depth of 80 km.
