Yuzvendra Chahal is known not only for his classic leg spin bowling but also for his wit and humor, and it was featured again yesterday when he interviewed Jos Buttler at the end of the match between KKR and Rajasthan Royals, a game that Rajasthan Royals won by 7 runs.

Both Chahal and Buttler played a key role for Rajasthan in that win as Buttler first scored a hundred and helped Rajasthan to a huge score of 217 and then onto a surface that was really good for stroke play where one side of the ground was also small, Chahal took 5 wicket away and made Rajasthan take their 4th win of the tournament.

Yuzvendra Chahal interviews his fellow players while also playing for India

Yuzvendra Chahal is one who always interviews his teammates after the games whether he plays for India or elsewhere and keeps the same tradition for Rajasthan Royals as well, he interviewed his teammate Jos Buttler after the game where he asked Buttler what the real secret is that he has scored so many points this IPL season.

Chahal cheekily asked if Buttler is concerned that if he doesn’t perform well as an opener, Chahal is someone who could take his place at the top of the order as a batsman. It was clearly a joke and Buttler answered that in an equally brazen way.

Buttler jokingly admitted that it is indeed the pressure that is on him because Chahal is in the running for the opener lock that is pushing him in training and pushing him to work hard to score more and more runs for Rajasthan Royals so he can keep its place as opener.

Jos Buttler has already scored two hundred in the current IPL season and is currently the orange cap holder with more than 300 runs. The England wicketkeeper batsman had also scored a hundred in the last IPL and in fact he has 3 hundreds to his name in the last 7 IPL innings.
