Before the start of the IPL season, there was a lot of buzz around RCB Allrounder Glenn Maxwell. The Aussie tied the knot with Vini Raman, an Australian citizen of Indian descent.
The RCB camp made memories that they would cherish for the rest of their lives. RCB star Glenn Maxwell recently tied the knot. To celebrate this, the RCB management organized a wedding reception. The function was attended by RCB players and their families, who lived in the bubble.
IPL is a cricket festival, they say. IPL is also a festival that celebrates families and creates unbreakable bonds. Sports on the field is, of course, something to watch out for. But the off-field chemistry between players and families is a beauty in itself.
Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, wife of Virat Kohli, also attended the reception. The newly appointed RCB captain Faf Du Plessis was seen at the function along with his wife, Imari.
Imari looked beautiful in a traditional Indian outfit. She had been wearing Green Chanderi Saree. It turns out that Anushka lent Sharma Imari the saree. Anushka wore the same saree when she was congratulated for the Smita Patil Award in Mumbai in 2018.
Imari took to Instagram and thanked Anushka for borrowing the saree. The interesting thing is that both Imari and Anushka share the same date of birth. She also wished Anushka through her Instagram Story.
“Thank you for sharing your birthday and your saree with me @anushkasharma,” wrote Imari. Imari and Anushka share the same birthday. (May 1).
