Punjab Kings have bulldozed the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 60th match of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. The game will always be remembered for the aggressive batting performances of Kings’ England stars Liam Livingstone and Jonny Bairstow. Aside from that, fans will also remember it for a cat.
It may sound surprising, but a cat managed to interrupt proceedings in the match between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Punjab Kings. RCB skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and chose to field first at Brabourne Stadium. However, the field was excellent for at bats and the Punjab Kings registered a total of 209 runs in the first innings.
After chasing 210 runs in the second innings, the Royal Challengers Bangalore failed to build partnerships and suffered a disappointing defeat en route to the IPL 2022 play-offs. Players like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Rajat Patidar and Glenn Maxwell were unable to make big shots because the Royal Challengers Bangalore lost the match.
Speaking of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team innings, there was a surprise visitor in the middle when a black cat stopped playing when it appeared on the screen. During the first over of the second innings bowled by Harpreet Brar, Faf du Plessis was on strike and before he faced the ball, he saw something on the viewing screen.
When the camera zoomed in on it, it was discovered to be the animal, and since it was on the crosshairs screen, the players had to wait a while before the game started.

A cat on top of the viewing screen ensures that the largest T20 competition in the world is briefly interrupted. The best part is that the cat licked its paw and didn’t care about anything else. Cat 1-0 IPL. #IPL2022
