England cricketer Kate Cross has tweeted many times from her official Twitter account about her love for the Chennai Super Kings IPL team. She has even received a special jersey from the Chennai Super Kings as she is a huge fan of the Chennai-based franchise.

Many Chennai Super Kings fans follow her on social media. Today is Tamil New Year and Cross decided to post a special tweet for her Tamil fans. This is what she wrote in Tamil today from her official Twitter handle:

“அனைவருக்கும் இனிய தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள்,” (with a yellow heart) “Happy Tamil New Year to all”, (rough translation).

தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள் 💛

— Kate Cross (@katecross16) Apr 14, 2022

The yellow heart was for the Chennai Super Kings fans because CSK plays in the yellow jersey. This year has not been the best for the Chennai Super Kings as they have won just one of their five games in IPL 2022 so far.

The Chennai Super Kings first played under the captaincy of Ravindra Jadeja and started with four defeats in four matches. They lost first to the Kolkata Knight Riders and then suffered defeats at the hands of Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants. Finally, they broke their losing streak with a 23-run win against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Shivam Dube was the best cricketer for the Chennai Super Kings in their last match

It is every cricketer’s goal to be the best performer for their franchise, and in the match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Shivam Dube stole the show with an outstanding inning of 95 runs. He was named Player of the Match for his stunning innings.

Dube will happily continue in the same vein when the Chennai Super Kings play their next game against the Gujarat Titans on Sunday night in IPL 2022.
